Inspection & documentation Mission Beach, Far North Queensland 17°52′S 146°06′E

Evidence
from above.

Drone, thermal and ground capture, written up as a dated record — for insurers and loss adjusters, insurance builders, strata managers, owners and resorts from Cairns to Gladstone. One attendance, one file, every observation numbered, located and timed. Nothing in it we would have to argue for later.

Scroll — how the record is made

The proposition

The record,
not the opinion.

Anyone can put an aircraft over a roof. What is hard to buy in North Queensland is a record produced to a method, by someone with no stake in the outcome, that still means something when a claim is disputed.

So the report describes condition observed — sheet lifted, fixings absent, moisture pattern at the ceiling line — with a number, a location, a time and a photograph for each. It does not guess at cause, price the repair or advise on cover. That is somebody else's job, and your file is cleaner for it.

  1. 01
Numbered, located, timed.Every observation carries an index number, an elevation, a capture time and a GPS position. The media index at the back ties each photograph to it.
  2. 02
Red / Amber / Green.A condition rating for each item — what was observed, not what should be done about it.
  3. 03
Aerial, thermal and ground in one attendance.Whole-of-roof coverage without a scaffold, a handheld thermal walk-through, and the ground shots that give the aerial set its context.
  4. 04
Independent by structure. We do not repair what we inspect and we do not scope the make-good. Nothing downstream rides on what the report says.

What gets documented

Tap a line to open it

Whole-of-roof and facade coverage on commercial, strata, resort and industrial buildings — and on any building where the inspection is for an insurance claim. No scaffold, no roof access, no second attendance.

What comes back
  • Numbered schedule of observations
  • Elevation-by-elevation photo set
  • Red / Amber / Green condition rating
  • Media index tying each photo to its item
Full detail →

A handheld thermal walk-through and moisture mapping to record where the moisture pattern actually runs. Qualitative, dated, and explained in the report so it can be read by someone who was not there. Quoted subject to instrument availability.

What comes back
  • Paired visual and thermal frames
  • Ceiling-line and wall-cavity patterns
  • Capture time and conditions logged
Full detail →

Property-by-property damage record after an event, from an operator already inside the corridor when the highway cuts. Residential and commercial, in the order you need them.

What comes back
  • Same-week attendance inside the corridor
  • Street or portfolio run in one mobilisation
  • Per-property file, ready for the claim
Full detail →

A dated condition record before the season, stored, and re-flown after an event. Pre-existing damage becomes a matter of record instead of an argument.

What comes back
  • Baseline set held for comparison
  • Post-event re-fly to the same frames
  • Before-and-after pairs on one page
Full detail →

Make-safe, progress and handover records for crews and committees — and, when the building is worth showing rather than only recording, the aerial and ground set that tells its story.

What comes back
  • Progress and dilapidation records
  • Before-and-after set for the scope
  • Stills and cut footage for your own channels
Full detail →

Site progress on a fixed cadence, handover and defects sets, dilapidation of the neighbours before works start, and aerial site overviews — same frames every visit, each one timed, positioned and indexed.

What comes back
  • Progress set per visit, to the agreed cadence
  • Handover and defects sets, indexed to the frame
  • Adjoining-property dilapidation record
  • Aerial site overview; orthomosaic where flown
Full detail →

A dated register with evidence-grade imagery of everything on the site worth insuring — plant, vehicles, trailers, tooling, stock, compound and yard. Every serial number, photographed.

What comes back
  • Pre-loss asset register, marked and dated
  • Plant and equipment photo IDs
  • Yard and workshop inventory with aerial coverage
  • Annual refresh; post-loss record for the claim file
Full detail →

The same aircraft, pointed at the good side of the building. Resorts, charters, venues, agriculture, real estate, marina and marine — aerial and ground, story sets and clips, indexed like everything else.

What comes back
  • Graded stills, one recipe across the set
  • Short clips, 16:9 and vertical
  • Aerial overviews, indexed with time and position
  • Usage licence in writing
Full detail →

Reports survey and record what was observed. They are not compliance certificates, they do not opine on structural adequacy and they do not certify defects. House pre-purchase and termite inspections are licensed building-inspector work in Queensland and are not offered.

Why here

Based where the cyclones cross

Mission Beach sits between Innisfail and Cardwell, in the middle of Australia's most cyclone-exposed insured corridor. After an event the airports close, the Bruce Highway cuts and every bed between Cairns and Townsville is taken. An operator flying up from Brisbane is competing for the same seat and the same room as your assessors.

We drive out of our own driveway. Cairns to Gladstone by road, own vehicles, travel included within 100 km and priced by distance beyond that. Nothing on the invoice but the work.
